Constantly evolving, there is always more to be seen. Some recent developments, for example, have seen the establishment of huge trans-frontier parks and as a result, some of the largest parks in the world are being created, promising the most amazing wildlife experiences.
How long should you stay?
The country is so large and has so many experiences to offer, that we recommend one or more of the following options or combinations.
- Western Cape (Cape Town & Environs) and the Garden Route.
- Western Cape and the Big 5 game reserves of the Eastern Cape.
- Western Cape and the Sabi Sand/ Kruger Park surrounds.
- Western Cape and Botswana
- Greater Kruger Park area and KwaZulu Natal.
- Kruger Park area and Western Cape.
- KwaZulu Natal. (Battlefields, Beaches and Wildlife)
We think that for vacations similar to those above, you should allow anything between 12 and 21 days in order to best experience what is on offer. We recommend the above as a guide, taking into consideration the fact that the combinations lend themselves to providing varied experiences and also reasonably seamless travel from one area t5o the other.
